Space for self-awareness, change, and new perspectives
In challenging times, many of us feel irritable or restless inside.
Sometimes it's specific conflicts, sometimes a vague feeling of emptiness or meaninglessness. Questions such as “Was that it?”, “Am I on the right path?”, or “Why does my life feel out of balance despite outward stability?” often arise quietly but persistently.
Often it is our fellow human beings who particularly touch or irritate us—whether in romantic relationships, at work, in the family, or among friends. Each of these relationships has the potential to reveal inner issues. But it is not only people who have this effect on us.
Life phases, crises, decisions, or the feeling of having lost our inner compass usually carry a message as well.
We can view all these experiences as mirrors. They show us where we are in harmony with ourselves—and where we are not. We resonate differently with each of these mirrors, and each situation brings different issues to light.
A common reaction is to give in to the hurt or to look for blame outside ourselves. This may provide short-term relief, but it rarely leads to real change. The pain remains, conflicts are not resolved, and even existential crises do not disappear by ignoring or distracting ourselves.
I am a big fan of personal responsibility and honest self-reflection.
Questions such as “What does this experience have to do with me?”, “Why does this affect me so much?” or “What do I really long for?” lead to deeper insights and open up space for self-awareness. And that is exactly where transformation begins.
When we recognise that a current situation is related to past experiences, unconscious beliefs, or unfulfilled needs, we can take targeted action and enable lasting change— both internally and externally.
In coaching, I accompany you in gaining inner clarity, developing new perspectives, and finding the right next steps for your life.
My work is based on a systemic approach that always considers your personal issues in the context of your environment, your relationships, and your inner patterns. I work with elements from systemic counselling, the solution-focused approach, and selected methods from NLP, among other things.
Depending on the issue at hand, constellations and creative, experience-oriented interventions may also be used to reveal inner connections and make new scope for tangible action.
A particular focus of my coaching is on supporting highly sensitive people. If you are highly perceptive, deeply emotional, and quickly feel overwhelmed by stimuli, expectations, or inner pressure, you will find a safe space with me where this sensitivity can be understood and used as a strength.

High sensitivity – a special way of perceiving the world
High sensitivity is not a diagnosis, but a special form of perception. Highly sensitive people perceive stimuli more intensely – be it noises, moods, smells, or interpersonal nuances.
They often sense subtle changes in their environment or unspoken emotions early on. This can be a great strength, but it can also be challenging, especially in a loud, fast-paced, and performance-oriented world.
Many highly sensitive people are familiar with the feeling of “ticking differently.” They need to retreat more often, are more sensitive to stress and overload, and have a strong need for meaning, authenticity, and harmonious relationships. At the same time, they often possess a pronounced empathy, creativity, profundity, and a keen sense for people and processes.
I myself am highly sensitive and know both sides from my own experience: the depth, the connectedness, and the keen perceptions—but also the phases of overload, self-doubt, or the feeling of not quite fitting into this world. Only with time have I learned to understand this sensitivity not as a weakness, but as a resource, and to find a more conscious way of dealing with it.
In my coaching, I repeatedly encounter people who feel similarly. Often, simply realising that there is “nothing wrong” with them is a relief. High sensitivity should not be seen as something to get rid of, but as something to understand and support. It is about developing your own, coherent way of dealing with it—with clearer boundaries, more self-care, and a life that honours your own perception.
If you recognise yourself in these lines, you've come to the right place. Your feelings are valuable. And they deserve space.
“With a great deal of empathy and targeted questions, Martin helped me gain clarity about my professional and personal goals. I felt well supported, understood, and encouraged, and I came away from the coaching session with a positive feeling. I can recommend Martin with a clear conscience.”
